Processing

The plant operates with an unmatched 97% use of renewable energy. The paper board is manufactured in a newly inaugurated KM7 machine, which was built to set the modern standard for sustainable paper packaging. Within it, the wood chips are separated into individual fibers, then washed and bleached in a rigorous multistep process, creating white pulp of the highest standards, making our paper board board food safe, and odour and taint neutral. The mechanical pulp is mixed with chemical pulp, enabling a paper board of a strong, stiff core, with excellent printing capabilities.
